Donald Trump, President of the United States, wrote on Truth Social: “I, contrary to what the so-called ABC ‘fake news’ has reported, am not trying to bring Iran to the negotiating table.”

He added: “For me, it doesn’t matter if they sign an worthless deal—according to themselves. I much prefer our position now; with almost complete control over the Strait of Hormuz and an economy in Iran that is completely collapsing.”

Trump also wrote: “They are just going through a process that is unavoidable. When are the people of Iran going to rise up and fight?”
