Behrouz Kamalvandi, spokesperson for the Atomic Energy Organization, said in an interview with the state news agency IRNA on Wednesday, 25 Shahrivar, that the Islamic Republic does not have trust in the International Atomic Energy Agency.

The spokesperson for the Atomic Energy Organization of the Islamic Republic said: “IAEA inspectors do not have access to nuclear facilities that have been damaged due to war and security issues.” Behrouz Kamalvandi added: “Protecting information from these facilities has particular importance in the current conditions.”

He said: “We do not have trust in the Director General unless the Director General wants to make fundamental changes in his approaches. He is doing more politicizing than professional work. His statements are political statements.”

Kamalvandi also announced: “The Agency’s reports and the Director General’s statements and interviews provide the necessary material for political pressures from European countries, the United States, and especially Israel, and for this reason Iran has always been dissatisfied with his performance.”
