🔶 Air France suspends flights to Riyadh and Dubai
Air France said on Monday, July 20, that due to the worsening security situation caused by the escalation of the war in Iran, it will suspend its flights to Riyadh and Dubai.
The airline says it is suspending round-trip flights to Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh until July 25, and round-trip flights to the United Arab Emirates’ Dubai until July 28.
Air France also extended the suspension of flights to Beirut, Lebanon, until August 2; flights that have been suspended since March 1.
The French airline said the resumption of flights depends on a renewed assessment of the security situation in the region—a situation, it said, that is “changing and evolving rapidly.”
The company added: “Air France reiterates that the safety of its customers and flight crew is the top priority for this airline.”
Previously, during the war between Israel and the United States against the Islamic Republic, several international airlines had suspended their flights to the Middle East.
