A citizen from Yazd talks in an Instagram video about problems with medicine and healthcare in Iran. He says: “My five-person family and I have caught a cold, and the visit for each of us costs at least five hundred thousand tomans. We didn’t go to a doctor; I bought cold medications myself from a pharmacy. I bought 5 types of medication for 560 thousand tomans.”
Referring to threats against citizens by the judiciary due to protesting against price hikes, he says: “If you’re not going to execute us, say that this isn’t life—we are dying.”
