🔻Warning from IRGC Khatam al-Anbiya to the U.S.: Iran’s armed forces’ strikes will be more severe than before
The spokesperson of the central headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya has warned the U.S. Army that if it continues to “harass” Iranian ships, the “strikes” by Iran’s military forces will be “more severe than before.”
According to a report by Iran’s state TV (IRIB), the Khatam al-Anbiya spokesperson said that “if the continuation of evil, insecurity and harassment of Iranian ships and the naval blockade of Iran” by the U.S. Army continues, “the strikes by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran against U.S. military vessels in the region will be more severe than before, and the possibility of their expansion also exists.”
A few hours earlier, CENTCOM said it had attacked three Iranian oil tankers, and Admiral Brad Cooper, commander of CENTCOM, said a message that: “Let the message to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps be clear: if you fire at two of our ships, we will impose upon you an even heavier economic cost; that is, we will destroy three of your ships.”
According to a CENTCOM statement on the X social network, this attack was carried out after the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps fired a ballistic missile at two U.S. Navy vessels that were conducting patrols in the waters of the region.
