Videos released on social media minutes after a car collision with a gathering of supporters of the Islamic Republic show the incident on the evening of Tuesday, 10 Shahrivar, on Vakilabad Boulevard in Mashhad. In this incident, at least 4 people were killed and more than 10 were injured.

Fars News Agency, affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, reported that a Hyundai vehicle traveling west to east on Vakilabad Boulevard was moving with a “relatively high and unsafe” speed. It first collided with a Changan vehicle traveling in parallel on the adjacent lane, and following the crash, the Hyundai driver lost control of the car and its direction of travel changed.
