🔸Ukrainian and Polish officials said a Russian drone on Sunday, September 22, struck a passenger train traveling from Kyiv to Warsaw, but the attack caused no casualties.
🔸Ukraine said the attack occurred about two kilometers from the border with Poland, one of the NATO member countries. Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, said Russia carried out the attack “intentionally.”
🔸Video images released from the site of the incident show people running after an explosion at the railway station.
🔸Oleksandr Shvchenko, one of the local officials responsible for transportation, said a Russian drone on Sunday morning targeted a train locomotive traveling from Kyiv to Warsaw. According to him, the attack also caused no casualties.
🔸Also early on Sunday, a Russian drone targeted a fuel station near the Yagodyn border crossing between Poland and Ukraine. No report of casualties was released for this attack.
