UK Parliament continues today its review of the Immigration and Asylum Bill; a proposal that is set to change the appeals system for rejected cases, create a new independent body to hear appeals, and speed up the removal process for people without the right to remain.

The government says more than 150,000 cases are awaiting consideration, but legal institutions and the UN High Commissioner for Refugees have expressed concern about protecting the right to a fair hearing.
