U.S. Southern Command (Southcom) announces U.S. forces targeted a high-speed vessel on September 18

The U.S. Southern Command (Southcom) announced that American forces on September 18 targeted a fast-moving vessel that was operating on one of the well-known routes for drug trafficking in the Caribbean Sea.

According to the command, the information obtained confirmed the vessel’s active role in drug trafficking, and in the attack three people whom the U.S. Southern Command called “drug terrorists” were killed.
