Trade between Russia and China increased by 22% in the first half of 2026, exceeding $135 bln, Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov said at a meeting of the Russian-Chinese Intergovernmental Commission on Investment Cooperation on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF).

According to him, the current pace is steadily bringing the two countries closer to their $300 bln target. Manturov added that Russia and China also plan to expand the list of joint investment projects.
