Today we drained the beautiful “Reflection Pool” so we could repair the damage and impacts the vandals caused it two weeks ago. We wanted to wait until after the Fourth of July weekend holidays. The breaks were 300 yards long, and the pool’s bottom had been cut by these thugs, then pulled upward with a great amount of force. The Parks Department was forced to drain the water in order to repair the sealed basin. Soon it will be filled again with water and put back to use. These low and country-hating people should pay a heavy price for the damage they caused.
