Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan in two calls on Sunday

Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan on Sunday, in two separate telephone calls, reviewed developments in the region with the foreign ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Pakistan.

Al Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper reported that in a conversation with Abbas Araqchi, Iran’s foreign minister, the Saudi foreign minister discussed efforts to preserve regional security and stability.

In a separate call with Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Pakistan’s foreign minister, Faisal bin Farhan reviewed developments related to the current crisis.

Accordingly, the two sides also assessed efforts to contain the crisis through dialogue and negotiations, with the aim of reducing tensions and preserving regional security and stability.
