The Russian Defense Ministry reported on strikes on Kyiv and Odesa, as well as on a crossing on the border with Romania.
As a result of a massive strike in Kyiv, a rocket manufacturer enterprise, “Flamingo” Fire Point, was hit, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
The agency also reported hitting the “Aerovabovna” enterprise and the Darnytsia locomotive depot in Kyiv, the assembly shop for unmanned boats in Khotov, and an oil depot in Boryspil, in Kyiv Oblast, as well as a thermal power plant and electrical substations in Odesa and the region; and in Odesa’s ports — warehouses and storage tanks.
In Boryspil, according to local authorities, four people were killed as a result of the overnight strike. In Kyiv, the city mayor Vitaliy Klitschko said, eight people were killed, seven of them — in the Darnytsia district, where the missile hit the railway depot.
According to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, among the dead is a citizen of India.
In addition, the Russian Defense Ministry acknowledged a strike on a border crossing point and a ferry crossing in Orlivka on the border with Romania.
