🔶 Rulings of expulsion from education issued for dozens of students of Alzahra University
According to reports published in student media, nearly 100 students of Alzahra University in Tehran have been barred from enrollment following the protests at this university in Esfand (late winter), and dozens of them have now received severe rulings barring them from continuing their education.
In this regard, the Amir Kabir newsletter reported that after months of uncertainty, administrative silence, and case-making during a period of war and afterward, these students have been faced with disciplinary rulings.
In student reports, the name Zahra Nazim Bakayi, the president of Alzahra University, has been raised in connection with the intensification of the crackdown on students.
Based on these reports, university officials have not officially communicated the rulings on barring students from enrollment, summonses to the disciplinary committee, and even rulings issued after a defense, to the students.
Some students and their families, according to these same reports, also learned about the status of their cases through threatening calls made to anonymous numbers.
