⚡ Oman’s foreign minister, by posting a message on the X social network, reiterated his remarks at the “ASEAN” summit and emphasized that this country supports free navigation through the Strait of Hormuz.

Badr Al-Busaidi said that vital waterways, including the Strait of Hormuz, must remain accessible for shipping and be protected from any actions that disrupt the freedom of navigation and the flow of international trade.

He had earlier stated at the ASEAN summit that maintaining open and secure waterways requires responsible cooperation by coastal countries and all users of maritime routes. In another part of his remarks, Oman’s foreign minister once again emphasized the need to support and facilitate dialogue among the parties involved in the region.
