In an official statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Oman condemned the targeting of Bahraini and Kuwaiti territory, as well as an attack on two Saudi and Qatari commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz. The statement said that the Sultanate of Oman condemns these military attacks and incidents involving the targeting of commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz, warning against the escalation of tensions in the region. Oman’s foreign ministry also called for an immediate cessation of the tensions, restraint by the parties, and a return to dialogue and diplomatic solutions.
