On Wednesday evening, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, during a visit to Israeli forces stationed at Jabal al-Sheikh, said that Israel “is very close to overthrowing the regime” in Iran, adding that in that case “all of this axis will fall apart.”
Israeli forces entered southern Syria after the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s government and, since then, have carried out hundreds of airstrikes against military positions in Syria.
