Masoud Pezeshkian, in a meeting with the heads of “top universities,” said: “I am not in favor of continuing the war, but we must increase the country’s resilience in the face of the trends ahead. To increase resilience, we must take a path that will not force us to have talks with the enemy in another situation. In this path as well, the university should help the government.”
Pezeshkian continued: “Economic interventions must be made in consideration of the conditions of society; otherwise, instead of treating, they will cause harmful damage.”
The head of the government added: “Today, the electoral rivals are alongside the government and they are trying to solve problems. I have even told Mr. Jalili that he should help the government in solving problems, and wherever he can, I give him authority to resolve issues. I do not want proposals; our problem is not that there is no solution. Rather, we need people who can solve problems.”
