Lebanese health officials said Israeli attacks on the south of the country have left four dead and 20 injured since Sunday morning.

In a statement, Lebanon’s Ministry of Health, which was published by the country’s National News Agency, said that most of the victims were women and children.

The Israeli army had earlier said it targeted Hezbollah positions in response to a drone attack on its forces in southern Lebanon.
