🔶 Large-scale Ukrainian attack on Wildberries logistics centers in Saint Petersburg
Ukraine’s night attack on July 24 (2 Mordad) on Russian soil is considered one of the widest drone attacks of this year.
Major fires broke out at Wildberries logistics complexes in the Shushary district (Saint Petersburg) and at the industrial zone of Otkina Zavod in Vsevolozhsk district (Leningrad Region), forcing both centers to stop operations completely.
The Ukrainian attacks will have serious consequences for deliveries across the northwest of Russia. Only over the past week, at least nine centers belonging to Wildberries—the largest Russian online store and marketplace for clothing, shoes, electronics, home goods, and food—have been targeted.
According to experts, the Wildberries platform has been used for the “provision of clothing and equipping” of forces involved in Russia’s war against Ukraine. It is believed that Wildberries offers a large volume of dual-use (military-civilian) goods and military equipment.
