Kan Hebrew News: The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) are preparing to significantly reduce their forces in southern Lebanon, as tunnels located along the “Ali Tاهر” area have been destroyed.

According to a plan being considered by Israeli defense officials, troops would withdraw from the current “security zone” in some areas, including positions north of the Litani River such as “Beaufort,” and would deploy near the Israeli border.

This proposed deployment, called the “gray line,” would include IDF military bases in the depth of about three to four kilometers into Lebanese territory.

The plan has not yet been finalized and has not been approved by Israeli political leaders.
