Israel says a Hamas commander and three other members of the group were killed in Gaza;
The Israeli army said that, as part of ongoing air operations in the Gaza Strip, a Hamas commander and three other members of the group were killed in attacks from the previous day.
According to the Israeli army, the targeted individuals were active members of Hamas.
The United States, Israel, and a number of other countries consider Hamas a terrorist group. Over the past two years, and during its operations in Gaza, Israel has managed to eliminate many of the group’s prominent figures.
