🔶 Israel’s energy minister: Any attack by Iran will be met with a crushing response
Israeli officials say that the levels of security and military readiness for dealing with various potential developments in the region have reached their highest level.
The position was stated by Eli Cohen, Israel’s Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, in remarks on Israel’s Radio 103 FM.
Cohen also, in his morning remarks on Thursday, July 23, confirmed that Israel’s security and political institutions are closely monitoring developments. He said that Tel Aviv is fully prepared for any possible scenario that may be imposed following the escalation of conditions on the ground in the Middle East.
Cohen then, in a message with a sharp and direct tone directed at the Iranian government, warned against any hostile military action against the Jewish state.
He said explicitly: «We are prepared for any scenario and any possible development, and if Iran makes this mistake of carrying out an attack on Israel, we will respond with extraordinary power.»
