The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said, after U.S. attacks, that it had reported on targeting positions of U.S. forces in the region and announced that it had downed one MQ-9 drone of the U.S. Army.

At the same time, the IRGC warned that the Strait of Hormuz would remain blocked. Reports have also been published about attacks by the Islamic Republic on positions in Bahrain and Kuwait.
