🔶 Iraqiči’s phone call with the commander of Pakistan’s army during his trip to China

Abbas Araqchi, the foreign minister of the Islamic Republic, who has traveled to Tehran to hold talks with Chinese officials, spoke by telephone on Wednesday, September 16 (25 Shahrivar) with Asim Munir, the commander of Pakistan’s army.

According to Iranian domestic media, the call discussed and involved “the latest developments in the region and matters of mutual concern to the two countries.”

On the other hand, Araqchi reported on his “successful consultations” with Chinese partners by posting on the social media platform X, and said: “Iran attaches special importance and value to the strategic partnership that it has created and strengthened with China over the years.”

The Iranian foreign minister added: “The decisions that are made today will affect the strategic balance of the future in the region and will have countless and wide-ranging consequences.”
