European Commissioner for Economy Valdis Dombrovskis said he cannot specify what might provoke renewed talks on expropriating frozen Russian assets for Ukraine but is ready to return the issue to the agenda.

The European Commission proposed legislation last year, but member states failed to agree, partly due to Belgian resistance.
