Donald Trump, the U.S. president, said in an interview with GB News that Iran’s economy has been put in a critical situation following Washington’s actions.

Trump said: “We have full control of the Strait of Hormuz. Every night we destroy 30 to 40 of their boats and we target their radars.”

He also added that Iran’s economy is “collapsing” and said: “Inflation may reach 300 percent, their currency is almost worthless, and the exchange rate with the dollar is about two million to one, and it gets worse every day. They are really in a very bad situation.”
