🔻CBS, a business partner of the BBC in the United States, published for the first time on Tuesday evening new photos it says were provided exclusively to this news network.
The images show extensive damage and destruction to buildings and vehicles at several U.S. military bases in the Middle East following Iran’s missile and drone attacks.
The images were sent to CBS by military personnel serving there, on the condition that their identities be kept confidential, because media restrictions in the U.S. military are severe.
One of the servicemembers deployed in the region told CBS in this regard:
“This is huge damage to our bases that has not been passed on to the American people. We’re standing there, our eyes are closed, and fists hit our faces.”
In a photo of the burned fuselage of the four-engine Boeing E-3 Sentry aircraft at the Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia, the burned section separated off from the tail section of the aircraft.
