Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, said in response to the sudden death of Lindsey Graham, the U.S. Republican senator, that he believed Israel’s and America’s security were inseparable.

Netanyahu added that Graham devoted his life to defending the United States, strengthening the alliance between the two countries, and supporting the “free world.”

He said: “Israel lost one of its greatest friends, America lost a great patriot, and I lost a dear friend.”
