👈 Baghaei, Spokesperson of Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Qatar’s government, in an official document submitted to the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), has confirmed that Iran’s defensive attacks against U.S. forces stationed on Qatari soil “have been directed at U.S. military facilities [...]. No residential area has been targeted.”

The only exception Qatar raised is an attack on a gas facility on March 18. However, it should be noted that the facilities that were attacked on that day were serving the U.S. military invasion of Iran.

This is an obvious contradiction with the long-standing record of the United States in deliberate attacks on non-military targets—such as schools, hospitals, residential neighborhoods, weddings, bridges, and so on.

There is a great difference between a civilized nation that has learned the importance of adhering to ethical and human principles even in the most difficult conditions, and war-minded rulers who do not observe any law or ethics in the exercise of their power.
