▪Richard Marles, Deputy Prime Minister and Australia’s Minister of Defense, after meeting with JD Vance, the U.S. Vice President, and Pete Hegseth, the U.S. Secretary of Defense, emphasized that the Islamic Republic’s efforts to limit the passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz are “completely unacceptable” and contrary to the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.
