🔻At least four killed in vehicle crash involving demonstrators in Mashhad
Minutes ago, Iranian news agencies reported that the driver of a vehicle who drove into a gathering of people on Vakalabad Boulevard in Mashhad has been arrested.
IRIB said that in this incident “4 people were killed and more than 10 others were injured.”
The Traffic Police of Mashhad said that a car—“a Hyundai Genesis at high speed”—veered off and then hit into the crowd.
It is said that the vehicle hit “the nighttime gathering of supporters of the Iranian government.”
So far, the cause of this incident has not been announced by Mashhad officials.
