The newspaper claims that resistance forces have repelled Israeli attacks around Ali al-Tahir; according to Al-Akhbar, 2 resistance fighters were killed and an Israeli company incurred losses.

The outlet also assessed the Israeli operation as part of a process of gradual advance in southern Lebanon.
