According to HRANA, Ali Zarayi Doozderesi, a political prisoner and one of the eye-injury victims of the 1401 protests, who is being held in Qezel Hesar Prison in Karaj, was sentenced to death by Branch 23 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court on the charge of “corruption on earth.”
Zarayi Doozderesi, 27 years old, was injured in one of his eyes during the nationwide protests of 1401 as a result of a pellet-gun bullet shot. He had previously also been detained and faced judicial action.
He had previously been in Germany, but on 8 Ordibehesht 1405, after entering Iran, he was arrested by agents of the Ministry of Intelligence.
His case, during the preliminary investigation stage, was handled by Branch Three of the Office of the Prosecutor of District 33 Tehran, known as the “Security Prosecutor’s Office.”
Ultimately, on 9 Tir of the same year, he was transferred to Qezel Hesar Prison in Karaj, where he is currently being held in Unit Three, Ward 37 of the prison.
