According to the Associated Press, images released by an Armenian media outlet also match the video aired by Iranian state television and show that the ship in those images is the Arista. This matching was based on the container colors on the deck and the ship’s hull paint scheme. In its report, Iranian state television did not broadcast a close-up of the ship’s name or registration number, and in one of the images it blurred the ship’s name. Maritime tracking data shows that Arista ran into trouble while transiting between the port of Hormuz and Asaluyeh.
