The United States Army has never been this powerful and strong. No other country can do what we do; not even close! This year, we set new historic records in recruiting forces months ahead of schedule. The morale of our military personnel has never been this high. The unmatched power of our Army was fully on display during the celebration of the 250th anniversary of America’s independence, and just as our country has never been this powerful, the Department of War has never been this at its peak. We must maintain this situation; for that reason, when Congress reconvened, it must pass the “Reconciliation 3.0” bill, which includes $350 billion in defense funding, along with the “American Rescue Act.” I urge the leaders of the House of Representatives and the Senate to make this their top priority and to ensure that the allocation of $350 billion in defense funding through “Reconciliation 3.0” passes through the budget committee as soon as Congress begins its renewed session. The “American Rescue Act” that everyone is calling for, alongside fully funding the large Department of War budget, can be passed very quickly and can ensure that the United States of America remains free for future generations as well.
