Israeli forces said they killed Mohammad Naeim Jundiya, the head of military security for the Shajaiya Battalion in the military wing of the terrorist organization Hamas. The Israeli army and Shin Bet said in a joint statement that the operation to kill this individual was carried out on Wednesday in the north of the Gaza Strip. According to the report, Jundiya was, in the October 7 attack, the commander of a group of Hamas forces that raided the kibbutz of Nahal Oz and played a role in the kidnapping of Daniel Pertz, an Israeli serviceman, as well as in the holding in captivity of Yotam Haïm, Samer Al Tlalqa, and Alon Shmrez, other Israeli citizens. He also, in the recent period, attempted to advance terrorist plans against Israeli army forces in the Gaza Strip.
