According to Iranian media, “Fazlollah Hashemi Razavi,” a researcher and one of the well-known figures in the field of Iranian rugs and carpets, has died at the age of 86. The Iranian Rug and Carpet Scientific Association, in publishing a report on his death, wrote that Mr. Hashemi Razavi worked for more than half a century to preserve and introduce the art and industry of Iranian rugs and carpets, and among those active in this field he was known for “good name, honesty, and professional commitment.”
