In a statement on the X social network, Qatar’s Ministry of Transport announced that all maritime activities in this country will be resumed and that this decision will be implemented with immediate effect. The move cancels the ministry’s recommendation of June 29, which asked all vessels to halt movement and maritime activities until further notice. The resumption of Qatar’s maritime activities is being announced while navigation in the waters of the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, following the recent war and tensions related to the Islamic Republic, remains in a high-risk situation.
