🔶 Joint sanctions by Gulf states and the United States against Hezbollah’s financial network On Tuesday, June 30 (Tir 9), Gulf Arab countries in coordination with the United States added several financial entities and officials affiliated with Lebanon’s Hezbollah, an Iran-aligned and Iran-linked group, to their lists of terrorist sanctions. The joint action against 5 entities and 16 individuals was carried out by member countries of the “Task Force on Targeted Terrorism Financing” (TFTC). The center includes Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States. Among the new names on the list, vital Hezbollah structures and financial institutions stand out. Al Qard al-Hasan Institution (AQAH) is one of these entities, which had previously been sanctioned by the United States in July 2007.
