Ruby

Elegant code and Rails.

Ruby was designed to make programmers happy, and it shows: code that reads almost like English, where everything is an object and a block can say a lot in one clear line. This track starts from zero: printing and irb, values and symbols, decisions, arrays and hashes, blocks and iterators, then methods, classes, mixins and errors. It ends with Ruby on Rails, the framework behind GitHub and Shopify: a first tour, then models and migrations, views and forms, and tests.

Every lesson is short, checked with quizzes, and full of small programs you can run yourself.
