Java

The enterprise workhorse, modernised.

Java has run banks, online stores and giant backends for three decades, and it was the first language of Android apps. Modern Java is far leaner than its reputation. This course starts from zero with Java 25, the current long-term support release: how the JVM runs your code, variables and types, decisions, loops and methods, then classes, records, collections, streams, interfaces, pattern matching and exceptions.

Every lesson is short and packed with quizzes, so you learn by doing. By the end you can write and run real Java programs on your own.
