Docker
Package and ship anything in containers.
Docker packs your app and everything it needs into one standard package, an image, so it runs the same way on your laptop, in CI and on the production server. Teams use it to run websites, APIs, databases and caches as separate containers, and to pin production images by digest.
This track starts with your first docker run and takes you through fast, small Dockerfiles, multi-stage builds, Compose with networks and volumes, secrets done right, releases pinned by digest, and debugging in production. At the end you will see what Kubernetes adds on top.

Three exams are waiting: Bronze, Silver and Gold.
What you'll be able to do
- Explain images, containers and layers, and run any service with
docker run - Write fast, cache-friendly Dockerfiles and small multi-stage images for Go and Node.js
- Run a full stack (website, API and PostgreSQL) from one
compose.yaml - Keep data, configuration and secrets safe with volumes, environment variables and secret files
- Ship images pinned by digest, then read logs, set limits and debug containers in production
- Know what Kubernetes adds, and when one Compose host is enough
The journey
1 Module 1Containers from zero
What Docker solves, images versus containers, and the commands you will type every day.
0 / 32 Module 2Building images
Write Dockerfiles, understand layers, and make rebuilds take seconds.
0 / 33 Module 3Production-ready images
Multi-stage builds, distroless and scratch, non-root users, healthchecks and scanning.
0 / 34 Module 4One stack, one command
Describe the website, the API and PostgreSQL in one compose.yaml, with networks and volumes.
0 / 35 Module 5Config, secrets and releases
Pass configuration safely, never bake secrets into images, and release images pinned by digest.
0 / 36 Module 6Running in production
Logs, resource limits and debugging, then what Kubernetes adds on top of containers.
