CI/CD and the cloud
Automate builds, tests and deployments.
Continuous integration tests every change the moment you push it, and continuous delivery ships the changes that pass the same careful way every time. This track uses GitHub Actions, the automation built into GitHub, which runs your jobs on fresh machines in the cloud called runners.
You start with a test pipeline for a Node.js project, then learn matrices, caching, secrets and token permissions. You finish by building a Docker image, deploying it by digest, checking its health and rolling back automatically when the check fails. A final module goes further: shared workflows, your own runners, infrastructure as code and Kubernetes.

Three exams are waiting: Bronze, Silver and Gold.
What you'll be able to do
- Explain CI, continuous delivery and continuous deployment, and design a pipeline that fails fast
- Write GitHub Actions workflows with triggers, jobs, steps, matrices and caching
- Test a Node.js project automatically on every push and pull request
- Keep secrets out of logs and give every token only the permissions it needs
- Build and push a Docker image, deploy it by digest and roll back when a health check fails
- Tell a failing test from a broken workflow file, and fix both
The journey
1 Module 1Automate the checks
Why CI matters, how a workflow is built, and a Node.js pipeline with a matrix and caching.
0 / 52 Module 2Ship it
Secrets and permissions, Docker images and digests, safe deploys with rollback, and debugging failed runs.
0 / 53 Module 3Going further
Bigger pipelines: shared workflows, your own runners, infrastructure as code and Kubernetes.
