🔶 Ukraine reports attack on a Russian airbase in Crimea The Ukrainian military announced that it targeted one of Russia’s most important air bases in the Crimean Peninsula and, at the same time, destroyed several important ammunition depots and two bridges in the Donetsk region. In a statement, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said the “Howardisk” airbase was used to carry out combat operations against Ukraine. The body added that an assessment of the extent of the damage is still ongoing. In this context, Mikhailo Fedorov, Ukraine’s defense minister, announced that the number of this country’s attacks on targets in the depth of Russian territory has become “almost two times” higher. He said that attacks on ammunition depots and supply routes weaken Russia’s ability to support its forces.
