The sudden interruption of the television broadcast of Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf’s interview, the speaker of parliament and head of the negotiating team of the Islamic Republic, prompted an official response from the Parliament Media Center. In a statement, the center announced that parts of the interview about the war, the Strait of Hormuz, and understanding with the United States were not broadcast without coordination by the national broadcaster (IRIB).
