SpaceX launched 23 Starlink satellites from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on Monday in another routine mission for its broadband network. The flight added to the company’s growing satellite constellation, which is designed to expand global internet coverage.
The Falcon 9 first stage completed the mission with a controlled landing on a drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean. The recovery allows SpaceX to reuse the booster on future launches, a key part of the company’s strategy to cut costs and increase launch frequency.
The launch adds to a steady cadence of Starlink deployments this year as SpaceX continues building out the system. The company has used the reusable Falcon 9 rocket to support both commercial and government missions while scaling its satellite service.
SpaceX has not said whether this mission faced any delays or technical issues. The launch was reported by Reuters as part of the company’s ongoing Starlink rollout.
