🔺 Saudi Arabia is considering reducing dependence of oil exports on the Strait of Hormuz ▪ Reuters reported that Saudi Arabia is examining an increase in the capacity of an East-West pipeline as it implements one of the biggest oil price cuts for Asian customers in decades; a route that transfers crude oil from the country’s eastern fields to Yanbu port on the Red Sea coast and could enable more exports without passing through the Strait of Hormuz.
