The Israeli army said that overnight it killed “Fadi Falah Ashour Deghmsh,” one of the commanders of the training wing of Hamas, in northern Gaza Strip. According to a statement by the Israeli army, Deghmsh was responsible for various trainings; in particular, training Hamas’ elite unit forces in the years before the massacre of October 7 and one of the managers of operations against Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip. The Israeli army also said that in recent months Deghmsh had been pursuing new terrorist plots and trying to restore the capabilities of the terrorist organization Hamas. He was considered a threat to Israeli forces operating in the Gaza Strip and was eliminated in an airstrike.
