The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said two local members of the force were killed in Paveh after being shot by unidentified armed individuals.

According to the IRGC statement, the shooting took place on Monday evening, June 29, outside a residential house, and Bahman Khrisani and Khaled Khalidi-Nia were killed in the incident.

The IRGC also said two other members of the force were wounded.

The text further stated that the two men are said to have taken part in the crackdown on people on January 8 and 9, but this claim has not been independently verified.
